«Fo Shou Zhong Fa Jiao» («Budda’s Palm. Strong fermentation») is made in Taidong County from Fo Shou tea cultivar. Harvest: spring 2019.
In appearance: medium-sized, brown pellets of twisted tea shoots. The aroma is viscous, fruity. The liquor is transparent, with a reddish-chestnut hue.
The bouquet of brewed tea is multifaceted and warm, with notes of spicy herbs, milk chocolate, biscuit, and dried fruits. The aroma is warm and viscous, fruity with biscuit and chocolate hints. The taste is rich and smooth, sweetish, a bit spicy, with delicate fruity sourness and refreshing finish.
Brew tea with hot boiling water (90-95°C) in a porcelain gaiwan or a teapot of porous clay. The proportion is 6 g per 100 ml. The time of the first steeping is about 10 seconds. After that do short steeps (just for 1-2 seconds), increasing steeping time for each subsequent step, if necessary. You can steep the tea up to 10 times.
