Aged alpine oolong «Winter Leaf» is made in Nantou County (central Taiwan).
In appearance: glossy, dark brown pellets of twisted tea shoots. The aroma is discreet, spicy-biscuit. The liquor is transparent, with golden almond hue.
The brewed tea has aged, complex, spicy-biscuit bouquet with woody, coffee, vanilla, chocolate and berry notes. The aroma is deep and multifaceted, warm. The taste is rich and refined, sweetish, slightly astringent, with berry sourness, spicy nuances and lingering finish.
Brew tea with hot water (95-100°C) in a porcelain gaiwan or a teapot of porous clay. The proportion is 5 g per 100 ml. The time of the first steeping is about 10 seconds. After that do short steeps (just for 2-3 seconds), increasing steeping time for each subsequent step, if necessary. You can steep the tea up to 12 times.
«Winter Leaf» is an excellent ceremonial oolong with rich, distinct flavor and deep warming effect.
