"The Fragrance of Antiquity" is the seventeen-year-old Taiwanese Oolong made by traditional technology of prolonged baking on charcoal.
Dry leaf: burgundy-brown flagella of tweested leaves. The aroma is restrained, with notes of fruits and wood. The liquor is transparent, with mahogany shade.
The bouquet of brewed tea is mature, fruity-balsamic, with spicy, coffee, cognac and creamy notes. The aroma is complex and sweet. The taste is rich and full-bodied, refined and silky, sweetish, with delicate sourness and lingering finish.
Brew tea with hot water (95°C) in a porcelain gaiwan or a teapot of porous clay. The proportion is 6 g per 100 ml. The time of the first steeping is about 10 seconds. After that do short steeps (just for 2-3 seconds), increasing steeping time for each subsequent step, if necessary. You can steep the tea up to 10 times.
