"Aged Oolong from Xinzhu" (harvest 2009) was made in the North part of Taiwan island.
In appearance: small, spherically twisted pellets of lilac-brown color. The aroma is restrained, with woody and earthy notes. The liquor is transparent, golden almond color.
The bouquet of brewed tea is mature and multifaceted, with woody, cognac, vanilla and fruity nuances. The aroma is deep and low, complex, with a touch of oakwood moss. The taste is full-bodied and smooth, sweetish with delicate berry sourness, transforming into lingering finish.
Brew tea with hot water (90-95°C) in a porcelain gaiwan or a teapot of porous clay. The proportion is 5 g per 100 ml. The first infusion should last for 15-20 seconds. After that do short steeps (just for 5-6 seconds), increasing steeping time for each subsequent step, if necessary. You can repeat this method up to 12 times.
"Aged Oolong from Xinzhu" is an excellent ceremonial tea for gourmets and connoisseurs. It relieves fatigue and nervous tension, relaxes the body and refreshes the perception.
