«Cui Liuan Oolong» («Oolong from the Jade Peak») is made from spring shoots of Oolong variety (harvest 2019) in the central, high-elevation area of Taiwan.
In appearance: small, bluish-green pellets of twisted tea shoots. The aroma is intensive, spicy-floral. The liquor is transparent, with a bright, yellow-green shade.
The bouquet of the ready-made tea is exquisite and vivid, floral, with notes of spicy herbs, milky nuts, fruits and berries. The aroma is tender, spicy-floral. The taste is refined and full-bodied, silky, sweetish, a bit spicy, with delicate fruity sourness and long, refreshing finish.
Brew tea with hot water (90-95°C) in a porcelain gaiwan or a teapot of porous clay. The proportion is 6 g per 100 ml. The time of the first steeping is about 8-10 seconds. After that do short steeps (just for 1-2 seconds), increasing steeping time for each subsequent step, if necessary. You can steep the tea up to 12 times.
