“Cinnamon: Aged Aroma” is strong fermented Wuyishan oolong of “lao cha” type. It is an aged tea, which is fermented for many years after producing. Tea is stored in special clay jugs which are sealed up with wax. Once a year these jugs are opened and the tea is roasted in the wood charcoals. This technology is especially popular in Taiwan. This tea is highly estimated for its taste, aroma and its health benefits, because it rids the pathogen cold from a body.
Dry dark brown tea leaves are large and twisted. The aroma is intense, deep, warm and spicy. The clear liquor has hazelnut tint.
The taste of brewed tea is rich and dense, it has a bit of woody, coffee and chocolate nuances which are smoothen in time and joined to the harmonic “chen yuan”, “the melody of aged tea”. Chen Xiang Rou Gui is brewed with hot boiled water (95-100°С) in yixing tea pot for strong fermented oolongs or in thick-walled gaiwan. Take 5-7 grams of tea for 120-150 ml volume vessel. According to oolong tradition shed tea with water and empty cups, then infuse tea for 5-10 seconds, and after fifth infusion increase the infusion time gradually.
This aged fermented tea has a specific bouquet and effect. It is very strong tea. Somebody would need some efforts to get its essence, for somebody it could stay an enigma. The truth is that this tea will touch your feelings!
