Lianhua Feng (Lotus Peak) among Wuyishan oolong lovers is known as a cult place where the best tea grows on narrow stripes of land between rocky cliffs.
In appearance: middle-sized, curved, lengthwise twisted brown leaves. The aroma is intensive, spicy-biscuit. The liquor is transparent, with a shade of dark amber.
The bouquet of the ready-made tea is multifaceted and warm, spicy-biscuit, with notes of toasted bred, wood resins and baked fruits. The aroma is warm and deep, complex. The taste is rich, smooth and sweet, a bit astringent, with mineral notes and lingering aftertaste.
Brew tea with hot boiling water (90-95°C) in a porcelain gaiwan or in a teapot of porous clay. The proportion is 5 g per 100 ml. The time of the first steeping is about 5-7 seconds. After that do short steeps (just for 1-2 seconds), increasing steeping time for each subsequent step, if necessary. You can repeat this method up to 6-7 times.
Oolong «Lianhua Feng Rou Gui» has everything you need for a gungfucha style ceremony: a multifaceted and balanced taste, a high but not excessive fire, and a classic Wuyi melody!
