Shui Xian is usually translated as “Narcissus”, but it also means “Water Spirit”. Oolong "Shui Xian Old Bush" was made in September 2021 in the Wuyish Nature Reserve (medium degree of fermentation, moderated heat).
In appearance: middle-sized, lengthwise twisted leaves of brown colors. The aroma is intensive, spicy-biscuit. The liquor is transparent, amber color.
The bouquet of ready-made tea is multifaceted and warm, woody, with biscuit, nutty, floral and fruity nuances. The aroma is warm, calming; cold aroma is sweet, floral. The taste is full-bodied and smooth, sweetish, with delicate fruity tartness, transforming into lingering finish.
Brew tea with hot boiling water (95°C) in a porcelain gaiwan or a teapot of porous clay. The proportion is 6 g per 100 ml. The time of the first steeping is about 5-7 seconds. After that do short steeps (just for 1-2 seconds), increasing steeping time for each subsequent step, if necessary. You can repeat this method up to 7 times.
