Oolong «Wonderful orchid» was made in Laoba tea farm (Zhangzhou County) from the spring shoots of Qilan cultivar, harvest 2018, by traditional technology (deep fermentation and long baking on charcoal).
In appearance: thin, burgundy-brown flagella of twisted leaves. The aroma is intensive, woody with berry touch. The liquor is transparent, with mahogany hue.
The brewed tea has bright, multifaceted bouquet with floral, woody and berry notes. The fragrance is high, woody with berry accent. The taste is refined and sappy, sweetish, with delicate woody tartness, refreshing berry sourness and lingering finish.
Brew tea with hot water (95°С) in a porcelain gaiwan or in a teapot of porous clay. The proportion is 4-5 g per 100 ml. The time of the first steeping is about 5 seconds. After that do short steeps (just for 1 second), increasing steeping time for each subsequent step, if necessary. You can repeat this method up to 10 times.
Oolong «Wonderful orchid» is a great choice for ceremonial tea party – refined, multifaceted and long.
