“Nanjing yesheng oolong cha” was made in the spring of 2020 in the South of Fujian province from wild raw materials using Qingxiang oolong processing technology.
In appearance: thin, curved, dark green flagella of twisted tea leaves. The aroma is intense, floral-herbaceous. The liquor is transparent, with a shade of white grapes.
The bouquet of brewed tea is fresh, floral-herbaceous with walnut and berry notes. The aroma is high, grassy-floral; cold aroma is sweet, floral. The taste is refined and full-bodied, oily, sweetish, with delicate berry sourness (in excess concentration, a slight citrus bitterness appears). The aftertaste is long, juicy and sweet.
Brew tea with hot water (75-85°C) in a porcelain gaiwan or a teapot of porous clay. The proportion is 6-7 g per 100 ml. The time of the first steeping is about 8-10 seconds. After that do short steeps (just for 3-5 seconds), increasing steeping time for each subsequent step, if necessary. You can steep the tea up to 8-9 times.
“Nanjing yesheng oolong cha” is a great choice for gongfu cha style ceremony: sophisticated, lighthearted, refreshing.
