Oolong "Dan Cong from Zhangzhou” was made in Fujian province in Autumn of 2018. At the final stage of processing, it is baked over coal (peihuo).
In appearance: gracefully thin, medium-sized, dark brown flagella of twisted tea leaves. The fragrance is deep, berry-floral with biscuit accent. The liquor is transparent, with a shade of white vine.
The bouquet of ready-made tea is bright and vivid, floral-and-berry, with spicy, woody and citrus notes. The aroma is high and tender, spicy-floral. The taste is refined and juicy, multifaceted, sweetish, with fine berry sourness and spicy nuances, transforming into the lingering finish.
Brew tea with hot water (95°С) in a porcelain gaiwan or in a teapot of porous clay. The proportion is 4-5 g per 100 ml. The time of the first steeping is about 6-8 seconds. After that do short steeps (just for 1-2 seconds), increasing steeping time for each subsequent step, if necessary. You can repeat this method up to 9 times.
Oolong "Dan Cong from Zhangzhou” is a great choice for the ceremonial tea party –both refined and bright, exciting and relaxing!
