"Zuyun" means “Happy Omen in the Outline of the Clouds.” The ceremonial matcha of the first harvest (ichibancha), spring 2018, from Uji, the oldest tea region in Japan.
In appearance: bright green powder of the smallest fraction. The aroma is deep, grassy tonality. The powder is easily whipped into a rich foam.
A bouquet of ready made tea is bright, grassy. The taste is rich, full-bodied, viscous, with a slight grassy bitterness, turning into a sweet, refreshing aftertaste.
The effect is exciting, definitely tonic.
