«Sencha» from Mie Prefecture, Spring harvest of 2019.
In appearance: small, thin, oblate, bright green tubes of twisted leaves and their fragments. The fragrance is delicate, herbaceous. The liquor is transparent, with a yellow-green shade.
The bouquet of the ready-made tea is fresh and delicate, grassy with a floral note. The fragrance is high and tender, floral-herbaceous. The taste is full-bodied and oily, with a refined grassy bitterness turning into a juicy, sweet aftertaste.
Classic Japanese brewing method: put the tea in a preheated Japanese teapot at the rate of 2 g per 100 ml, pour boiling water, cooled to 70-75°C, and after 30 seconds pour the contents into cups. The procedure can be repeated up to three times. You can also steep the tea 5-6 times in china gaiwan at the rate of 2-3 g per 100 ml: do short steeps (just for 3-5 seconds), increasing steeping time for each subsequent step.
«Sencha from Mie» is a lovely green tea which perfectly quenches thirst, relieves fatigue and refreshes.
