“Yellow buds from Emei Mountain” is made of the very first spring tea shoots (harvest march 2022) by "yellow curing" method in a small tea farm in Emeishan Mountain (Sichuan province).
Dry leaf: yellowish-green buds. The aroma is fresh, herbal-and-floral with bisguit hints. The infusion is transparent, with a light golden-green shade.
The bouquet of brewed tea is light, herbal-and-floral with notes of biscuits and roasted chestnuts. The aroma is fresh and tender. The taste is full-bodied and oily, sweet, with a fine berry sourness and lingering finish.
Brew tea with hot water (75-80°С) in a porcelain gaiwan. The proportion is 3-4 g per 100 ml. The time of the first steeping is about 6-8 seconds. After that do short steeps, increasing steeping time for each subsequent step, if necessary. You can repeat steeping up to 6 times.
Lovely tea with tender flavour and relaxing, meditative effect.
