Alpine oolong "Snow Flakes" was made in a small farm in the Wudong peak area. During the processing the tea leaves were exposed to moderate fermentation and baking on medium heat.
In appearance: large, lengthwise twisted leaves of dark olive and brown colors. The aroma is mild, spicy-floral. Infusion is transparent, with yellow grapes shade.
The bouquet of brewed tea is elegant, multifaceted, floral, with minty, peach and citrus notes. The fragrance is refined and sonorous, sweet, spicy-floral. The taste is rich and full-bodied, with delicate berry tartness, hints of spice and lingering aftertaste.
Brew tea with hot water (80-95°C) in a porcelain gaiwan or a teapot of porous clay. The proportion is 4 g per 100 ml. The time of the first steeping is about 10 seconds. After that do short steeps (just for 2-3 seconds), increasing steeping time for each subsequent step, if necessary. You can steep the tea up to 9 times.
"Snow Flakes" is a perfect choice for those connoisseurs, who appreciate light, floral component of Chaozhou oolongs.
