Highly fermented oolong from Chaozhou, harvest 2023. Autumn shoots of Milanxiang tea trees from high mountain gardens at Wudong Peak were used as raw materials.
In appearance: thin, lilac-brown flagella of twisted tea leaves. The aroma is intense, fruity-biscuit. The liquor is transparent, with a shade of white grapes.
The bouquet of the ready-made tea is bright, multifaceted, spicy-floral with biscuit, berry and citrus notes. The aroma is delicate, biscuit-and-berry. The taste is refined, oily, sweetish, with the delicate tartness of grape skins, citrus sourness and a lingering, lemon-mint finish.
Steep the tea in a hot water (87-92°C) in a porcelain gaiwan or a porous clay teapot. The proportion is 5-6 g per 100 ml. The time of the first steeping is 15 seconds. After that do short steeps (3-5 seconds), increasing steeping time for each subsequent step, if necessary. You can steep the tea up to 9 times.
"Gao Shan Mi Lan Xiang Dan Cong" is a great Chaozhou Oolong with a multifaceted flavor, enchanting aroma and a meditative effect. It is an excellent choice for a gongfucha ceremony.
