“Old Tea from Meizhou” is original tea from Guangdong province. This is aged tea which is fermented for many years after producing. It is stored closed in ceramics dishes. Once a year it is opened and fried on the woody charcoals. Aged tea benefits are special taste, aroma and therapy effects. It dispels pathogenic cold in the body and nourishes the spleen.
The dry tea consists of different size vinous-brown leaves, buds and stems. The aroma is moderate, warm, with dry fruit tones. The infusion is clear of dark amber tone.
The bouquet of brewed tea has specific “cognac” tones with honey and dry fruits nuances. The aroma is mild, warm and a bit spicy. The taste is strong, moderate and sweet. Nice velvet aftertaste.
Infuse this tea with boiled water of 95°С in yixing tea pot for red teas or in gaiwan. Take 5-6 grams for 120 ml volume. Infuse tea for 10 seconds and increase infusion time gradually till 1-2 minutes. It stands 5-6 infusions.
It is nice budget tea for cold seasons and meditative tea time. It warmth body and makes spirit high, concentrates and balances emotions.
