Authentic tea from island Qyun Shang on lake Duntin (province Hunan). It was prepared in accordance with the complex technology Fu Yun (repeated cycles of heating over burning coals and cooling afterwards).
When dry, these are selected thin, glossy silky buds with tight bodies and sharp ends. The dried tea fragrance is bright, deep, spicy-floral with a nut shade. The infusion is transparent and has a light wheat colour.
The ready tea bouquet is sophisticated, floral-nutty with spice herbal notes and nuances of honey, baked milk, and fresh berries. The taste is multi-layered, subtle, soothing, sweetish, gently astringent with a light sour note. The scent is "languishing and mysterious", smoky-humid. A delightful luscious aftertaste.
Preparaton: with hot water cooled down to 90°С, in a porcelain gaiwan or a teapot of porous clay for yellow grades. The proportion is 5 - 6 g to 100 ml. Use "pouring brewing method" (pouring hot water through leaves gradually extending exposure time). The leaves can last for 9 - 10 brews.
This is an excellent tea for sophisticates and experienced tea lovers - a genuine impeccably prepared yellow tea. It shifts perception to the space of inner peace and quiet, eternal values and absolute harmony.
