“Mao Feng” or “Hairy Peaks” is one of the most popular tea variety in China. It is produced nearly at every tea region, but each production has its own style and specialty. “Red Mao Feng” is harvested and produced from spring buds in Mingshan district (Mengding Peak, Sichuan).
The dry tea consists of tiny dark brown leaves and fluffy red curved buds. The aroma is warm, fruity and corny. The clear liquor has golden amber tint.

Infuse this tea with boiled water of 95°С in yixing tea pot for red teas or in gaiwan. Take 5 grams for 100 ml volume vessel. Rinse tea with water, make quick infusion for a second and increase the infusion time gradually with each next brewing. This tea goes 7-8 infusions.
