Pang Xie Jiao, literally “Crab’s Legs” (Viscum articulatum Burm. f.), is an epiphyte plant that grows on the old puer trees in Yunnan province. It has got popularity in the 2000-s while the SARS epidemic in China. The scientists approved the Pang Xie Jiao as a natural remedy for this disease. The local people infuse Pang Xie Jiao as herbal tea, as a component of medical drink and as puer additive.
The dried Pang Xie Jiao is long olive-brown stems. The aroma is mellow, herbal and woody.
The infusion has a light olive tint. The brewed tea aroma has herbal aroma with dried fruit nuances. The taste is light, pure, sweetish with slight berry sour nuance.
Take 3-5 grams per 120 ml vessel to infuse this herbal tea.
