“Golden Tips” is a farm tea produced on a small farm in the Menghai district in the spring 2010.
The dried tea consists of medium size rolled dark-brown leaves and red buds, fragments and thin stems. The aroma is warm, quiet, fruity and nutty. The clear liquor is red-brown.
The bouquet of brewed tea is mature, corny-nutty, with fruity, earthy and woody tones. The taste is mild, quiet, velvet, sweetish with no astringency and bitterness. The aroma is warm, quiet, with a hint of roasted chestnuts. The mild aftertaste is velvet.
This tea is brewed with 95-100°С water in the bubbly clay teapot for ripe puers or in the ceramic gaiwan. Take 6 grams per 100 ml vessel. Rinse tea leaves with water, make short infusions (just for a second) and increase the infusion time gradually. The tea goes 8-9 infusions.
This is a nice choice for the everyday tea time. It is mild, long lasting and easy to brew. The effect is warming, relaxing, and meditative. Actually, it depends on concentration, the higher it is the more tonic effect comes.
