“Puer from the ancient trees” (blend 9592) is produced by Wang Xia Factory, that was found in the Simao city in 2004. This tea factory used to produce raw and ripe puers by “Wang Xia” and “Gu Fo Hai” (the Ancient Buddha Sea) labels.
The tea cake weights 357 grams, it is of medium density and easily crushed. Tea cake consists of dark-brown leaves, long, thin stems and red buds. The aroma of dried tea is mellow, with nutty-woody hint. The infusion is brown-red.
The bouquet of brewed tea is mellow, round, fruity-nutty with the bright tones of prunes and chocolate. It has deep, expressive, rich aroma. The taste is rich, mild, dense, sweetish, with slight bitterness and turns into the long lasting velvet aftertaste.
Wang Xia “9592” is brewed by 95-100°С hot water in the yixing tea pot for ripe puers or in the ceramic gaiwan. Take 6-7 grams for 100 ml vessel. Rinse tea leaves with hot water, make short infusions and increase the infusion time gradually. The tea goes 9-10 infusions.
It is excellent ripe puer, mild, rich and bright. It relieves psychological tension and physic fatigue, relaxes deeply and gives mind silence. The tea time goes lightly and long.
