«Yiwu Sheng Bing» («Shengfrom Yiwu Mountains») was pressed in 2018 by the order of Moychay.ru from the 2006 harvest. Yiwu Mountains (Southeast of Xishuangbanna County) is one of the oldest tea areas in Yunnan Province.
357 g teacake of medium density, broken effortlessly with fingers into large, brown flagella of twisted leaves with thin cuttings and beige tips. The aroma is delicate, fruity-balsamic. The infusion is transparent, peach color, in the process of tea drinking turns to apricot color.
The bouquet of the ready-made tea is mature and multifaceted, fruity-balsamic, with hints of oak moss, autumn leaves, spicy herbs and dried apricots. The aroma is deep and complex, fruity-balsamic. The taste is full-bodied and smooth, silky, with a sweetness of dried fruits, citrus sourness and spicy nuances, turning into the lingering finish.
Brew tea with hot water (90-95°C) in a gaiwan or a teapot made of porous clay. The proportion is 5 g per 100 ml. The time of the first steeping is about 5-7 seconds. After that do short steeps (just for 1-2 seconds) increasing steeping time for each subsequent step, if necessary. You can steep the tea up to 10 times.
«Sheng from Yiwu Mountains» is a superb aged puer for collectors and sophisticated connoisseurs.
