Is it possible to control other people, inspire them with their thoughts? How dangerous are hypnotists - are they really being recruited by special services or is it journalistic nonsense? Is it possible to cure a person of neurosis by digging to the depths of his subconscious? Can modern psychologists explain hypnosis, nirvana, and other “strange” states of consciousness? Many of these questions during an interactive conversation will be answered by an employee of the Institute of Cognitive Neuroscience, a teacher at the Higher School of Economics, Mikhail Reshetnikov, who studies the effect of hypnosis on problem solving and thinking.
