Sticky powder or "joss stick glue" is a neutral, sticky substance used in the manufacturing of incense sticks, especially in traditional Chinese incense production. The tree commonly used for joss stick glue is the Litsea glutinosa, also known as "jut" or "tabu." The resin extracted from this tree is used as a sticky base in incense stick manufacturing.
The aroma is thick, languid, oily, powdery, woody-spicy, chocolate-bread, rocky-mineral, tobacco, slightly leathery, with a aging tone in the form of coffee and chocolate nuances. Reveals multifaceted, beautiful, warm. For these incense, years-old agarwood from Hainan Island was used. Suitable for all types of tea and also for yoga, meditation or other types of practices. Pairs well with old teas and old puerhs, as well as Wuyishan rock oolongs.
