This excellent ripe puer is produced by Wang Xia Factory. It was founded in Ximao city in 2004 by Mrs. Wang Xia, the specialist of Menghai Factory. This plant produced sheng and ripe puers by Wang Xia and Gu Fo Hai (The Sea of Ancient Buddha) trademarks. The raw material for this puers was picked from very old puer trees on the Ba Da Shan Mountain which is situated on the border of Xishaunbanna and Burma. These trees are up to 1700 years old.
The cha bing, tea cake, is 400 gr weight, fine compressed, homogeneous and crushed with fingers into dark brown twisted leaves, stems and red buds.
The aroma of dry tea is mature with nutty and woody tones.
The clear liquor is bright brown-red.
The bouquet of brewed tea has nutty and woody tones with dry berry, dark chocolate and bred notes. The taste is very strong, deep and oily, light bitterness turns into rich sweet aftertaste. The aroma is warm with “dry wind” tones which are characteristic for Wang Xia Factory puers.
Ba Da Shan puer is brewed with 95-100°С water in yixing teapot or in thick-walled gaiwan. Take 5 gr for 100ml vessel. Make quick infusions and increase the infusion time gradually. This tea has a taste and aroma for 10-12 infusions.
Ba Da Shan puer has concentrating, meditative and warming effects. It concentrates and calms mind perfectly, balances emotions. Also, it has a fine tonic effect.
