Shu Pu'er "Meng Song" from "Ching Dyan Cha Ye" factory. This grade was made from spring shoots of tea trees growing in the area of village Meng Song in Menghai county in 2016.
A 357-g teacake of medium density, easily broken into reddish buds, medium size strings of twisted dark brown leaves, smaller leaf fragments and thin stems. The fragrance of dry tea is rich, bread-nutty. The infusion is transparent, of a rich red-brown hue.
The bouquet of ready tea is ripe, deep, nutty with nuances of autumn leaves, oak moss and rye bread. The taste is soothing, rich, smooth, sweetish without astringency or bitterness. The scent is deep, warm, nutty. A pleasant velvety aftertaste.
Preparation: brew with boiling hot (95-100 ° C) water in a gaiwan or a teapot of porous clay for Shu Pu'er. The proportion is 9 - 10 g per 100 ml. Use "pouring brewing method" (pouring water through leaves, gradually extending exposure time). The leaves can last for 7 - 8 brews.
An excellent budget Shu grade with a soothing nutty flavour and a warming relaxing effect.
