Shu puer «Chatou» («Tea Heads») made inMenghai County, harvest 2018.
In appearance: large, chocolate-brown lumps of tightly pressed fragments of tea leaves and buds. The aroma is restrained, woody with spicy-herbaceous hints. The infusion is slightly cloudy, dark reddish-chestnut.
The bouquet of the ready-made tea is mature, woody with notes of nuts, baked potato, rustic bread, milk, and spicy herbs. The aroma is deep and warm, woody-herbaceous. The taste is full-bodied and smooth, velvety, sweetish, with a slight woody tartness.
Brew tea with hot water (95°C) in a gaiwan or a teapot made of porous clay. The proportion is 8-10 g per 100 ml. Brew with an exposure of 15-20 seconds, gradually increasing the exposure time to 2-3 minutes. You can steep the tea up to 15 times. Ideal for boiling or brewing in a thermos.
Shu puer «Chatou» is a great choice for everyday tea breaks – soft and fragrant, warming.
