Oolong «Zu Huo Rougui» was made in May 2018 from the first spring shoots of Rougui cultivar (deep fermentation, high heat). Final drying (Zu Hou): June 2018.
In appearance: large, lengthwise twisted leaves of brown color. The fragrance is deep and warm, pastry with spicy accent. The liquor is transparent, with golden almond hue.
The bouquet of brewed tea is warm, roasted, with pastry, balsamic and floral notes. The fragrance is deep and warm, complex. The taste is full-bodied and rich, sweetish, with delicate bitterness, spicy nuances and mineral notes distinctive for true yancha. The aftertaste is long and refreshing.
Brew tea with hot water (95°C) in a porcelain gaiwan or a teapot of porous clay. The proportion is 5 g per 100 ml. The first infusion should last for 5-7 seconds. After that do short brews (just for 1-2 seconds), increasing exposure time for each subsequent step, if necessary. You can repeat this method up to 8 times.
«Zu Huo Rougui» is great choice for yancha connoisseurs – bright, rich and strong.
