“1000 miles long Aroma” is comparatively new type of Wuyishan oolong, that appeared at the end of XX century. This tea is named in honor of Qian Li Xiang, Murraya paniculata, the evergreen tree of the family Rutaceae. The flowers of this tree have a beautiful flavor and leaves are traditionally used as a remedy for many diseases. The oolong Qian Li Xiang is very similar and nice flavor. The tea leaves are multiply rolled and roasted on the “high fire” during the producting process.
The dry dark brown-vinous tea leaves are medium size and curved. The aroma is rich, deep, spicy. The clear liquor has a dark amber tint.
The bouquet of brewed tea is bright, round, warm, with corny, floral, spicy. The gorgeous aroma is deep. The taste is rich, strong, smooth, with slight bitterness, which turns into the long lasting refreshing aftertaste.
Qian Li Xiang is brewed with hot boiled water, 95-100°С, in the purple clay teapot for strong fermented oolongs. Make quick infusions and increase the infusion time gradually. It goes 8-9 infusions.
This is an excellent ceremonial tea for the occasion when you want to get warmed and have a magic relaxation time.
