«Tie Guanyin Tulou» Oolong («Tie Guanyin from Tulou») was made in 2023 by qingxiang technology (light fermentation, moderate heating).
In appearance: medium-sized, green pellets of twisted tea shoots. The aroma is intensive and fresh, floral-herbaceous. The liquor is transparent, with a greenish-yellow shade.
The bouquet of the tea soup is fresh, floral-herbaceous with notes of lilac, peach and melon. The aroma is tender, floral-herbaceous. The taste is full-bodied and sweet, with a delicate fruity sourness, spicy nuances and ingering finish.
Steep the tea in a hot water (85°C) in a gaiwan or a teapot made of porous clay. The proportion is 6 g per 100 ml. The time of the first steeping is 15 seconds. Then do short steeps (5-7 seconds) increasing steeping time for each subsequent step, if necessary. You can steep the tea up to 9 times.
