In appearance: large, brown twisted leaves with long, thin stems, silver-beige buds. The aroma is restrained, woody with fruity and floral hints. The infusion is transparent, cognac-amber in color.
The bouquet of ready-made tea is mature, multifaceted, spicy-and-woody, with mushroom, floral, fruity, autumn and balsamic notes. The aroma is intense, fruity and spicy. The taste is dense, soft, silky, sweetish, slightly tart, with fruity sourness, nuances of spices and a juicy finish.
Steep the tea in a hot water (92-95°C) in a gaiwan or a teapot made of porous clay. The proportion is 6 g per 100 ml. The time of the first steeping is 15 seconds. Then do short steeps (2-3 seconds) increasing steeping time for each subsequent step, if necessary. You can steep the tea up to 10 times.
“Bada Lao Sheng Cha” is an excellent aged sheng puеr with a rich, multifaceted taste and a warming, meditative effect.
