Oolong «Dark Leaf» was made in a small tae farm in May 2018 from the first tea shoots of Da Wu Ye variety (moderate fermentation, medium fire).
In appearance: large, burgundy-brown flagella of twisted leaves. The aroma is deep, spicy floral. The liquor is transparent, with meadow honey hue.
The brewed tea has bright, multifaceted, berry-floral bouquet with notes of currant leaf, cloves, basil, nutmeg and lime. The aroma is high, spicy-floral. The taste is rich and sappy, sweetish, cool, with light berry sourness and lingering finish.
Brew tea with hot water (95°С) in a porcelain gaiwan or in a teapot of porous clay. The proportion is 4-5 g per 100 ml. The time of the first steeping is about 5 seconds. After that do short steeps (just for 1-2 seconds), increasing steeping time for each subsequent step, if necessary. You can repeat this method up to 10 times.
Oolong «Dark Leaf» is a good choice for daily tea breaks – refreshing, vivid and delicious.
