Alpine oolong «White tips» was made in a small tae farm in May 2018 from the first tea shoots of Bai Ya variety (moderate fermentation, medium fire).
In appearance: large, burgundy-brown flagella of twisted leaves. The aroma is intensive, floral with berry accent. The liquor is transparent, with meadow honey hue.
The brewed tea has bright, multifaceted bouquet with berry, floral, citrus and spicy notes. The aroma is high, spicy-floral. The taste is full-bodied and sappy, a bit tart, sweetish, spicy, with light berry sourness, turns into lingering finish.
Brew tea with hot water (95°С) in a porcelain gaiwan or in a teapot of porous clay. The proportion is 3-4 g per 100 ml. The time of the first steeping is about 5 seconds. After that do short steeps (just for 1-2 seconds), increasing steeping time for each subsequent step, if necessary. You can repeat this method up to 10 times.
Alpine oolong «White tips» is a lovely ceremonial tea – refreshing, vivid and delicious.
