«Oolong from Shihe» was made in Shihe tea farm (Zhangzhou County).
In appearance: large, curved, maroon flagella of twisted leaves. The aroma is restrained, woody. The liquor is transparent, with a meadow honey hue.
The brewed tea has warm, woody-and-spicy bouquet with biscuit, nutty and fruity notes. The fragrance is tender and warm, woody with a nutty accent. The taste is soft and velvety, sweetish, with light wood tartness, refreshing fruity sourness and lingering finish.
Brew tea with hot water (95°С) in a porcelain gaiwan or in a teapot of porous clay. The proportion is 5-6 g per 100 ml. The time of the first steeping is about 8-10 seconds. After that do short steeps (just for 2-3 seconds), increasing steeping time for each subsequent step, if necessary. You can repeat this method up to 7-8 times.
«Shihe Oolong» is a good choice for everyday tea breaks– light, warm and relaxing.
