"Traditional Flavour Tie Guan Yin" is famous oolong from Anxi County (Fujian Province), made in the autumn of 2021 in the area of Xiping, the location of the oldest tea plantations. The official history of the local tea dates back to 1736 when it was included in the Imperial register list. The tea leaf is processed by traditional technology (medium fermentation and long baking at moderated heat).
In appearance: quite large, bright green lumps with long cuttings. The aroma is intensive, fresh and floral. The liquor is transparent with golden-green shade.
The bouquet of brewed tea is bright and fresh, multifaceted, floral with notes of wood, lilac, vanilla and peach. The aroma is incredibly ravishing. The taste is mild and smooth, buttery, slightly sweet with delicate berry sourness (cuttings give it special juiciness and extra volume). The aftertaste is sweet and lingering.
Brew tea with hot boiling water (90-95°C) in a porcelain gaiwan or a teapot of porous clay. The proportion is 4-5 g per 100 ml. The time of the first steeping is about 10 seconds. After that do short steeps (just for 3-5 seconds), increasing steeping time for each subsequent step, if necessary. You can steep the tea up to 10 times.
"Traditional Flavor Tie Guan Yin" will give bliss to your body and harmony to your soul.
