«Huoshan Huang Ya» («Yellow buds of Mount Huoshan») is a yellow tea from Anhui Province, harvest 2021.
In appearance: medium-sized, glossy, spiky, yellowish-olive buds. The fragrance is intensive, nutty-biscuit. The liquor is transparent, with a light shade of white grapes.
The bouquet of the ready-made tea is refined and complex, herbaceous with floral, biscuit and nutty notes. The fragrance is tender, nutty-herbaceous. The taste is refined and full-bodied, silky, sweetish, a bit astringent, with a fine berry sourness and lingering finish.
Brew tea with hot water (70-80°С) in a porcelain gaiwan or in a teapot of porous clay. The proportion is 6 g per 100 ml. The time of the first steeping is about 15 seconds. After that do short steeps (just for 2-3 seconds), increasing steeping time for each subsequent step, if necessary. You can repeat steeping up to 10 times.
