“Tang Bei” means “roasted”. This Te Guan Yin was produced in the south of the Fujian province, in the Xiping village area. The oldest tea companies are situated here. This tea was roasted on the charcoals, so the fresh floral fragrance is conserved and this tea can be stored for a long time.
The dry tea consists of small, half- spherical, green-fenny nodules. The aroma is strong with woody and citrus tones. The clear liquor is golden green.
The bouquet of brewed tea is bright, woody, floral with peach, lilac, spicy tones. The aroma is rich, woody and citrus. The taste is strong, rich, full-bodied, oily, sweetish with nice fruity sour nuance which turns into long-lasting refreshing aftertaste.
Tang Bei Te Guan Yin is brewed with 95°С water in the yixing teapot for light fermented oolongs or in the porcelain gaiwan. The top of the gaiwan saves the magnificent aroma and let you enjoy it. Take 6 grams per 100 ml volume vessel. The tea can be brewed for 10 times.
