The new product of the 2015 season is Yunnan green tea. It was harvested and produced in the Jingmai Mountain (Puer District). The raw material is the first spring buds of Yunnan large leaf tea trees.
The dry tea consists of large curved buds, covered with silver hair, and fleshes of olive and fenny colors. The aroma of dry tea is herbal, floral with smoky nuance. The infusion has clear light olive color.
The bouquet of brewed tea has herbal, floral with fruity, nutty, smoky tones which reminds both green tea and sheng puer. The aroma is very delightful, warm, fruity and smoky. The taste is rich, buttery, smooth, sweet with slight berry sour taste. The aftertaste is very long lasting.
Infuse this tea with chilled boiled water (95-100°С) in a porcelain gaiwan, glass tea ware or in yixing tea pot for sheng puers. Take 3 grams for 100 ml volume vessel. Rinse tea with water, make a quick infusion for a second and increase the infusion time gradually with each next brewing. This tea can be infused for 7-8 times this way.
This original green tea is certainly worth attention by sheng puer enthusiasts. It is very mild, rich, positive and delicious. It makes perception wider and brings fresh, positive energy.
