"Ancient Trees of Dongbanshan Mountain" is made of tea shoots picked up from centenary trees grown in Mengku district (Lincang County).
In appearance: middle size lengthwise twisted leaves and buds with long cuttings of grayish-brown colours. The aroma is bright, woody-herbal with fruity note. The infusion is transparent, yellow grapes colour.
The brewed tea has bright and vivid, woody-herbal bouquet with notes of meadow flowers, forest mushrooms and dried apples. The aroma is calm and tender, floral-herbal with dried fruit hint. The taste juicy and full-bodied, smooth, sweetish, with delicate acidity and spicy nuances, transforming into sappy finish.
Brewing suggestions. Brew tea with hot boiling water 95°C in a gaiwan or a teapot made of porous clay. The proportion is 5 g per 100 ml. The first infusion should last for 6-8 seconds. After that do short brews (just for one second), increasing exposure time for each subsequent brewing, if necessary. You can repeat this method up to 8-9 times.
