High-grade old ripe puer «Teaway man» was made by special order of the Moychay.ru company from mao cha harvest 1999. As the raw material there were used spring shoots of large tea trees grown in Menghai County (Xishuanbanna).
In appearance: the tea cake of 100 grams, composed of dark brown leaves with thin cuttings and yellow-reddish buds. The aroma is restrained, with nutty and woody hints. The infusion is transparent with dark reddish-chestnut hue.
The bouquet of brewed tea is mature, complex, with notes of wood, autumn leaves, spicy herbs, dried fruits, chocolate and baked chestnuts. The aroma is warm and deep, nutty with notes of prunes and chocolate. The taste is full-bodied and sappy, velvety, sweetish, a bit tart, with light fruity sourness, minty coolness, spicy nuances and lingering finish.
Brew tea with hot water (95°C) in a gaiwan or a teapot made of porous clay. The proportion is 5-6 g per 100 ml. The first infusion should last for 6-8 seconds. After that do short steeps (just for 1-2 seconds), increasing steeping time for each subsequent step, if necessary. You can steep the tea up to 12 times.
