«Tuocha» is a serving Shu puer from Jinggu tea district (Puer County), harvest 2018.
The average weight of one tuocha: 5-8 g. It is pressed from the small fraction of tea leaves. The aroma is restrained, nutty. The infusion is transparent, with a reddish-chestnut shade.
The bouquet of the ready-made tea is mature, nutty-and-woody, with notes of bread and baked chestnuts. The aroma is viscous and warm, nutty. The taste is full-bodied, velvety, with a slight woody astringency and delicate berry sourness in the aftertaste.
Brew tea with hot water (95-100°C) in a gaiwan or in a teapot. The time of the first steeping is about 5-7 seconds. After that do short steeps (just for 1 second) increasing steeping time for each subsequent step, if necessary. You can steep the tea up to 5-6 times. To prevent small fraction from overshadowing tea drinking, pouring the infusion into the chahai, use a strainer to filter. The best way to brew it is "one-off style" in a thermos.
«Tuocha» is a great choice for daily tea breaks. The effect is warming, moderately tonic.
