357 g teacake of medium density, broken effortlessly with fingers. The aroma of dry tea is discreet, nutty. The infusion is transparent with a dark amber hue.
The brewed tea has a matured, refined, nutty flavor with hints of autumn leaves and mushrooms, wood resins and dried berries. The aroma is deep and warm, polyphonic. The taste is saturated, soft, silky, pleasantly astringent, with light bitterness and sourness of dried berries and spicy nuances, transformed into long-lasting aftertaste.
Brewing suggestions. Brew tea with hot boiling water (95-100°C) in a gaiwan or a teapot for Ripe Pu'er made of porous clay. The proportion is 6 g per 100 ml. The first infusion should last for 8-10 seconds. After that just rinse water through teapot or gaiwan, increasing the exposure of each next infusion. You can repeat this brewing method up to 10 times.
It is strongly recommended to all quality-shu-lovers. Refined and polyphonic enough to drink it ceremonially, perfectly balanced in order to be prepared quickly and austere.
