Small Tea Plant Da Ye is situated in the Jinggu Mountains, Xishuangbanna district and produces Yunnan puer specially for “MoyChay” company. There is wild tee trees forest here, natural plants are not cut and no chemicals are used to grow them. Most of these trees have being grown here since XIX century when tea culture was blossoming here. The raw material for this tea was harvested in 2007 and tea cake or cha bing was compressed in 2014.
Dry tea cake is quite well compressed and easily crushed. Cha bing consists of dark brown wisp leaves, red buds and fragments of thin stem. The aroma is quiet and woody. The clear liquor is bright red-brown.
Brewed tea bouquet has woody and earthy tones. The taste is strong, rich, with hint of bitterness. At the beginning taste is a bit harsh, but when it releases, it becomes silky, smooth and chocolate. It gives aroma of comfortable old cottage and has smooth aftertaste.
Yunnan Puer is brewed with 95-100°С water in yixing teapot or in gaiwan. Take 5 gr for 100ml vessel. Make first infusion for 8-10 seconds, after just rinse water through teapot or gaiwan, brewing longer each next infusion. Brew this way 10-12 times.
This tea is a nice choice for everyday down-home drink with strong taste and light tonic effect. It helps to wake up in the morning and brings relaxation and emotional balance in the evening.
