«Special Grade» Ripe Puer was made by exclusive order by Moychay company from mao cha harvest in 2019. The raw material used were spring shoots of large tea trees grown near Qianjiazhai village at an altitude of over 2,100 m in Yongde region (Lincang County).
In appearance: the tea cake weighing a 100 grams is composed of dark brown leaves and bud. The aroma is discreet, with spicy and woody hints. The infusion is transparent with a dark reddish-chestnut hue.
The bouquet of the tea brew is mature, with nutty, woody, pastry and spicy nuances. The aroma is warm and deep, nutty with autumn leaves vibes. The taste is full-bodied and sappy, velvety, sweetish, a bit tart, with minty coolness, spicy nuances and a warm lingering finish.
Brew tea with near-boiling hot water (99°C) in a gaiwan or a teapot made of porous clay. The proportion is 5-6 g per 100 ml. The first infusion should last for 6-8 seconds. After that do short 1-2 second steeps, increasing steeping time for each subsequent step, to taste. You can steep the tea up to 10 times.
«Special Grade» is a great choice for daily tea breaks. Its effect is warming, moderately energising.
