Alpine oolong "Sweet Fragrance" was made in a small farm in the Wudong peak area in October 2017. During the processing the tea leaves were exposed to deep fermentation and medium fire.
Dry leaf: middle-sized, lengthwise twisted leaves of dark burgundy-brown color. The aroma is intense, spicy-floral. Infusion is transparent, with mahogany shade.
The bouquet of brewed tea is elegant, multifaceted, spicy-floral with notes of juniper, currant leaf, grapefruit, blackberry and peppermint. The fragrance is luxurious, elegant, spicy-floral. The taste is full-bodied and sappy, tart a bit, with spicy nuances and lingering, juicy finish.
Brew tea with hot water (90-95°C) in a porcelain gaiwan or a teapot of porous clay. The proportion is 3-4 g per 100 ml. The time of the first steeping is about 10 seconds. After that do short steeps (just for 2-3 seconds), increasing steeping time for each subsequent step, if necessary. You can steep the tea up to 8-9 times.
