«Lishiwei Milan» («Honey Orchid») is one of the most popular tea varieties in Chaozhou. It was harvested in the spring of 2019 and re-baked in the autumn of 2019. Medium fire.
In appearance: middle-sized, dark reddish-purple, flagellum twisted leaves with thin cuttings. The fragrance is intensive, berry-and-floral. The liquor is transparent, with a mahogany shade.
The bouquet of ready-made tea is multifaceted and vivid, berry-and-floral, with notes of wood resins, spicy herbs, milk chocolate and dried fruits. The aroma is tender, berry-and-floral. The taste is refined and full-bodied, sweet, slightly astringent, with berry acidity and lingering finish.
Brew tea with a hot water (85-95°С) in a porcelain gaiwan or in a teapot of porous clay. The proportion is 4-5 g per 100 ml. The time of the first steeping is about 5-7 seconds. After that do short steeps (just for 2-3 seconds), increasing steeping time for each subsequent step, if necessary. You can repeat this method up to 10 times.
