«Fragrance of Jade Orchid» was made in a small tea farm in the alpine Wudong peak area (Phoenix Mountain, Chaozhou County) in 2014.
In appearance: large flagella of twisted, dark, purple-brown leaves. The aroma is deep, spicy-floral. The infusion is transparent, with meadow honey shade.
The bouquet of brewed tea is elegant, complex, spicy-floral with notes of fresh berries, pine wood, peppermint and citrus. The aroma is delicate, spicy-floral. The taste is full-bodied and soft, silky, slightly tart, sweetish, with refreshing sourness and spicy nuances. The aftertaste is sappy and lingering.
Brew tea with hot water (95°C) in a porcelain gaiwan or a teapot of porous clay. The proportion is 4-5 g per 100 ml. The first infusion should last for 8-10 seconds. After that do short steeping (just for 2-3 seconds), increasing exposure time for each subsequent step, if necessary. You can repeat this method up to 10 times.
