«Golden Tips» is made from the first spring buds (harvest 2019), in Fengqing County (Yunnan Province).
In appearance: medium-sized flagella of dark brown buds, abundantly covered with golden fuzz. The fragrance is deep and warm, honey. The liquor is transparent, with a shade of hazelnut.
The bouquet of ready-made tea is warm, honey-biscuit, with notes of dark chocolate, raisins and dried apricots. The aroma is deep and warm. The taste is full-bodied and sweetish, a bit astringent, with berry sourness and spicy nuances.
Brew tea with hot water (95°С) in a porcelain gaiwan or in a teapot of porous clay. The proportion is 5-6 g per 100 ml. The time of the first steeping is about 5-7 seconds. After that do short steeps (just for 2-3 seconds), increasing steeping time for each subsequent step, if necessary. You can repeat this method up to 9 times.
«Golden Tips» is an excellent red tea for gong-fu-cha style.
