«Zunyi Xiao Ye Hong» is a red tea from Guizhou province (Zunyi County), harvest 2019. As raw materials, spring shoots of Da Ye cultivar (large-leaved) were used.
In appearance: small, flagellum-twisted, brown tips. The fragrance is restrained, woody with a berry hint. The liquor is transparent, with an amber shade.
The bouquet of the ready-made tea is warm and vivid, woody-and-spicy, with biscuit and berry notes. The fragrance is deep and warm, fruity-and-woody. The taste is rich and strong, sweetish, a bit tart, with refreshing berry sourness and spicy nuances.
Brew tea with hot water (90-95°С) in a porcelain gaiwan or in a teapot of porous clay. The proportion is 3-4 g per 100 ml. The time of the first steeping is about 5-7 seconds. After that do short steeps (just for 1 second), increasing steeping time for each subsequent step, if necessary. You can repeat steeping up to 8 times.
